Good morning from my bedroom in New York. Not from Hawaii as planned {extreme sad face}. But, hey, it’s 2021 and this is life now. Over the next 10 days or so, I will have much more time to dig through interesting content, I’m sure, but I’m going to go light today and just rest. Here are the recs:
1/ This was useful for anyone who may find themselves with a breakthrough case. The Atlantic and NY Mag have been great resources throughout the pandemic; I find myself very thankful to their reporters and editors.
2/ I found this story to be incredibly touching. Any reunion story, especially related to the Holocaust, has the potential to tug at the heart strings. This one has a particularly nice touch toward the end. It’s worth a read and bring your tissues.
Still, more than 75 years after a mother and daughter were tragically torn apart, their lineage is, at long last, inextricably linked again.
“The only thing I wish for is that they’re together in heaven,” Morris said. “And that they know we finally found each other.”
3/ Finally this movie looks amazing! I can’t wait to watch.
That’s all for this week. As always, thanks for subscribing and sharing. I’ll be back next week.
