The 33 Project
Hello hello. Slightly delayed here because I spent the morning moving offices from the small private space in Hudson Square over to Brooklyn, joining forces with Susannah and Tourlami! It’s been a lot of schlepping, but it’s done! Should we jump right into the recs for this week? Ok!
2/ This is a super interesting piece on the backlash to an art exhibit on a college campus. The backlash coming from a somewhat surprising group, all things considered.
I am increasingly convinced that there are tremendously negative long-term consequences, especially to young people, coming from this reliance on the language of harm and accusations that things one finds offensive are “deeply problematic” or event violent.
3/ This is an interesting resource for book lovers. I haven’t explored it too much, but plan to dive in and see if it’s worthwhile!
