The 33 Project
Hello hello. How are we doin? Another crispy Thursday here in NYC.
Recs for today:
1/ Earlier this week Susannah and I went to an excellent show out of Soho Rep called Watch Me Walk. Written and performed by Anne Gridley, the show is an autobiographical exploration centered on the rare genetic disease, Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia. It is such a funny and wild ride. The show was recently extended and I recommend it.
2/ Loved this piece on how small businesses are coming together to fight ICE in Minnesota. They really do community right.
3/ New Yorkers, are you in need of a cute bookstore? I recently discovered this map and I love it. It’s a great resource for finding good places to buy books by neighborhood! It’s also alphabetized and really organized. Big fan.
Bonus/ Anyone else craving a beach day? These retro photos are fantastic! The “legalize nude beaches” of course being my fav.
Have a great Thursday.
