The 33 Project

Morning. It’s kind of hailing here in the West Village. What a winter.

Anyway, no major updates. Let’s jump into the recs this week:

1/ Oh, Idaho. What a mess.

Made me think of this incredible doc i saw years ago at IFC called Welcome to Leith. Welcome to Leith chronicles the attempted takeover of a small North Dakota town by notorious white supremacist Craig Cobb. Highly recommend.

2/ The above rec made me think of a film we watched last week called Anniversary. It left me with the most unsatisfied feelings. Totally had potential, but fell very flat. This review really hit on it. Made me think of other movies about massive political and social shifts. Are there good ones I should watch? Please, let me know.

3/ Love an initiative that gets us more public bathrooms! If Maybach Zo could just keep doing a million little things to improve New Yorkers lives, he’s on track to a very successful tenure!!
