Hey hey, back with another weekly drop. Hope you’re feeling healthy and happy as you read this. I feel like every week the first thing I think as I sit down to write is, “woah it’s been a long week”. So instead of saying that, which is actually true (pretty much always), I’ll just say, “we’re back”. It’s all the same!
On to the recommendations for this week.
1/ This little diddy is for my environmentally conscious readers. Surprising results to keep us on our toes when we try to make enviro-friendly purchases.
Thanks to analysis of our new glass and plastic by the Danish Technological Institute, we know that the environmental footprint of this plastic is far lower than the footprint of this glass — mainly because we use far more of the Earth’s resources to produce this glass.
It’s always worth diving into what makes something “bad” - it often just takes a little more work to stay on top of this stuff.
2/ Sometimes I love just getting lost on artists websites, browsing beautiful pieces and getting inspired. This one with different designs, patterns, and colors is lovely.
3/ I’ve been working with the incomparable Lola to create a new podcast for her outfit, The Majority Group. Along with two other excellent collaborators, we are producing a series of interviews with incredible founders. I’ll be sure to share the final episodes when it’s ready - but for now, please follow along on The Majority Group’s IG and stay tuned.
That’s all for this week. Feel free to share this newsletter with anyone you think may be interested. See y’all next Thursday.
