The 33 Project

Morning all. What an awful week. So much pain and sadness. When news of such horrific events breaks, it’s hard to steady oneself. I feel disoriented in more ways than one.

Will continue to process and in the meantime, I spent a little time with the following recs this week and thought you may want to as well:

1/ “Now the brokenness is everywhere we look and it is impossible to unsee it.”

2/ A part of my Project 50 has been to read more poetry. I found this article on Mary Oliver to be a nice supplemental piece to all the poetry of hers I’ve been enjoying.

3/ Some incredible photos out of Ukraine [Warning: the link contains images some people may find upsetting]. Taken by a soldier who managed to upload them before being captured by the Russians. Brutal, difficult images, but important to take in.
