This week I’m sharing some real winners imho. Let’ get into it:

1/ This is an incredible competition.

Welcome to the international “space-out competition”. The rules are simple: do absolutely nothing. Falling asleep, however, leads to disqualification. Organisers monitor the participants’ heart rates; the contestant with the most stable heart rate wins.

2/ An interesting podcast on Gaza, Camus and the logic of violence. Philosophy professor Robert Zaretsky talks to host Sean Illing to discuss Camus’s thoughts on Algeria’s bloody war for independence and the parallels with the present moment.

3/ A memes manifesto. The internet is a wild place.
