It’s Wednesday! What are days anymore, any way? I’m going to jump right into it because I’m delayed today. I had editing work this morning that actually kept me quite busy through the coffee buzz and then I sort of fell off, as I do, and now I’m trying to reemerge as a productive human. Hurrah!
1/ Stoop Stories. This is a neat project sharing photographs of folks on their stoops. It’s sort of an updated Humans of NY but through the lens of the Covid-19 pandemic. Take a peak, browse through the captions, and learn a little more about how Brooklynites have been living the past five or six months.
2/ I’m really enjoying the Economist’s, The Intelligence podcast lately. It’s refreshing to listen to world news, rather than just United States specific news. There’s a couple of stories built into each day’s podcast and they are diverse and well reported. The correspondents take care to share a fully dimensional story that ends up sounding both fair and interesting. Highly recommend if you have an extra 25 minutes or so, each day.
3/ I bought these socks and they’re wildly comfortable. Is this the most idiotic recommendation, ever? Yes. Do I care? No. My feet are comfortable as fuck. They can breathe and it’s all gushy and warm. Enough said.
Ok, bye.
