Hello hello. It’s Tuesday. I am on a kick to be better. Well, at least try. So I wrote this morning and I’m planning a more obvious routine and I’m working and reading and all that. If you’re still reading this, wow, what’s wrong with you? JK, I’m talking to myself.
Anyway, on to todays recos:
1/ Hanya Yanagihara is one of my favorite writers. Like, all time. A Little Life is a beautiful and deeply intense read. I adored it. I also adore her instagram. It’s a nice mix of beautifully curated personal surroundings pictures and work-related content. As the Editor in Chief of T Magazine, it’s no surprise that content is a total pleasure to consume.
2/ I bet this guy was a delight to sit next to in high school.
3/ I liked this piece on how our new digital work-scape has further disrupted our mental clarity and our emotional connection. It’s interesting to think about how movement, and being in the same room with others, plays such a massive role in our well being and our ability to connect. There’s no doubt video calls are exhausting and make us tense and uncomfortable. This new way of working and communicating is in need of some serious reframing. I hope we can get there, or get back together at least, very soon.
Ok, bye.
