Hi Hi! As you read this, it’s likely I’m flying from Copenhagen to Oslo. We spent a few days in CPH to visit with Susannah’s friends and host a popup with Hart Bakery, where she once worked. It was exciting to see Tourlami in action at such an esteemed bakery.
For those of you wondering, yes I contributed - apron and all.
Anyway, Copenhagen was beautiful. Summer turning into Fall - easy, quiet, slow living. Despite the work stress, I’d say we had a lovely time.
Let’s get into the recommendations for this week:
1/ The solitude of Emily Dickinson.
How happy is the little Stone
That rambles in the Road alone,
And doesn’t care about Careers
And Exigencies never fears-
Whose Coat of elemental Brown
A passing Universe put on,
And independent as the Sun
Associates or glows alone,
Fulfilling absolute Decree
In casual simplicity
2/ Cool event tonight in Chicago being hosted by the Gerber/Hart Library & Archives. Even from afar, I like seeing this work and learning more.
3/ Make your own Blockbuster Case! The kid in me geeked out when I saw this.
That’s all for today. I’ll report to you from Norway next. Hope you’re having an excellent week.
