It’s been one year! One year since kicking off The 33 Project! I am pretty happy to have kept this little newsletter going, weekly, for one year. I’ll start with a quick thank you to the readers. Many of you have said really kind things. Many of you have shared this newsletter or responded with additional reads or links. I really appreciate you for that.
This week will be quick as we’re heading on a weekend trip for my birthday. Hope you enjoy, and thank you again.
1/ Gawker is back. Apparently, NY is, too.
2/ This is a nice twitter thread/resource on short films to watch.
As NYC legend Eileen Myles recently put it, “When I came here in the ’70s, the city was corrupt, dirty, but it was about itself.”
3/ Here’s a fun, dance-y playlist I made for the summer that has had a heavy rotation on my iphone.
Thank you again and till next week.
