Day three! Still going! Woohoo.
1/ I was in an argument recently about large tasks being overwhelming. Ever since reading Grit by Angela Duckworth, my answer to this predicament is always: break it down into small tasks that serve the larger goal. We can all figure out our big, forever goal. Our. north star. But we can’t get there immediately. We need to hit smaller, more achievable goals first. To hit those we need even smaller more attainable day-to-day goals. There is a system and it works. If you’re looking for a quick fix of Duckworth and her theories, check out this podcast.
2/ I May Destroy You has been my favorite show of 2020. It’s stuck with me since finishing a few weeks back. Start with this incredible profile of its creator, showrunner, writer and lead Michaela Cole. I May Destroy You manages to be both deeply, dramatically dark and hilariously sassy. Added bonus: the incredible soundtrack.
3/ This is a weird one, but I recently came across a very cool Vimeo channel by creator Jin Angdoo. Not much to say, except that it’s pretty cool!
Here’s the video, I liked most:
Ok, bye. See ya tomorrow!
