Hello hello. It’s a beautiful and slow Saturday morning here. Sharing this post to all because why not. :)
I hope you’re taking some time this weekend to relax. All the information we’re processing, hour by hour, really seems to be overwhelming of late. Right? It just never stops.
I’m trying out “orientation” as a means to feel safe and stabilized. I just spend a little extra time taking in my environment (thinking outside my body rather than inside). Letting my eyes wander and process. Supposedly this feeds stabilizing information to my brain and nervous system and helps me not feel so fucking crazy all the time, lol. Try it out and let me know if it works for you.
Ok, let’s get into the recs for this weekend. Three quick ones:
1/ From the Outside You Look Great.
There has never been more distance between who I appear to be online and who I am in my actual life. I relish in the distance. I’m simply unwilling to try and capture the tensions, frustrations, delights, complexities of my exquisite human life on these apps. They don’t deserve it.
2/ Great interview with Graham Norton on Queerphoria. He is just so damn likable!
3/ Wow do I want to see this doc. So glad it’s been made and hope it ripples across the world.
That’s all for this week. Thanks for reading and sharing and see you next week!
