Hello hello. Hope you’re all doing well and enjoying this frigid weekend. I’m assuming it’s frigid for everyone. California friends just don’t count this weekend. The wind nearly blew me over walking home last night which, while scary, did wonders for my body dysmorphia. Light as a feather!

1/ An excellent interview with David Remnick on the Talk Easy podcast.
He comes at the conversation with such a deep understanding of conflict and writing about conflict. It was nice to get to know the man behind the writing a bit more.
2/ Beautiful piece from Heather Hogan on what it’s like being the gay person at a straight family function. Lots of excellent pull quotes here, but just worth reading in general.
