The 33 Project - Hawai'i Edition
Aloha! Greetings from beautiful, sunny, windy Oahu! I’m in such a good mood on this vacation, I’m opening this post up to all. (Typically, I send an extra weekend edition to devoted followers. I just really appreciate you all today.)
Since arriving on Oahu, we’ve been spending every morning at the beach. Susannah surfs. I film it. It’s such a beautiful morning routine!
We’ve also gone hiking, gone to absolutely incredible restaurants and strolled through the most wonderful farmers market. All in all, it’s been an epic vacation.
Enough about me! You want those extra recs you so deserve! In all fairness, I’ve been pretty logged off this weekend - so you might be a tad disappointed. I promise next week to be more full on.
Anyway, here you go:
1/ You may have noticed that Joe Biden joined TikTok. It’s a messy, but likely necessary, move to build awareness with a younger audience. I hope his team takes this advice.
2/ Not to immediately burst my travel bubble, but this is a major ugh. Why does it feel like the airline industry is just descending into a depressive hellscape. Does anyone enjoy basic travel anymore? How?
3/ The tao of Rick Rubin. This came out last year, but it’s worth a revisit. I need to add his book to my reading list. If you’ve read it, let me know your thoughts, please!
